Lasagne Monster

Scrap The Boys
This month's challenge is....
You need to use a photo of your boy(s) getting dirty, this could be anything from mud, paint, dirt, cooking, eating and so on...
I also want your photo to inspire your layout is some way.

I haven't done a page for Scrap the Boys for a while, but while looking through my photos the other day I found this very cute but messy photo of my nephew Jack. He loved his lasagne as you can see.

Thanks for taking the time to drop by and have a look.
By the way, just a bit of Trivia, Lasagne is the plural for Lasagna, or when you run out of  "a"s  in your stash!

Chocolate Fondue

Purple Pumpkin May Sketch

May Sketch

Here is my take on this months sketch, it is of Kate having a wonderful time eating chocolate fondue strawberries at the Central Markets. She had a lovely time devouring them, her face was a great reminder, with chocolate all over it.
On this page I have used a lot of wonderful Purple Pumpkin creations. The tickets, bakers twine, resin flowers and the  very cute 2 bird buttons.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and have a look.

Old Book

Show Us Your Stuff - May Challenge

The above poster is our inspiration for this months challenge. It wasn't until I was reading to my daughter her night time story that I realised that I had a story to tell for this page. I was given this book " Kate's Balloon Trip" for my 7th Birthday, I still remember the person who gave it to me - it was the boy across the road. I loved this book, I know I read it a lot because in the front cover I have my name and 3 different classes I was in, so I read it for years. I kept this book, could never get rid of it and now my children read it and my daughter Kate ( how ironic) seems to get as much joy from it as I did.  So glad I was able to scrap this, it is sometimes the little, everyday things we forget to record.
I nearly forgot to mention that I made the fimo balloon to look like the one in the book.
Thanks for taking the time to drop by.
Thank you SUYS.

Team Ninja

Stuck Sketches - May 1st Challenge

The page that I created for this challenge was of Liam's first night of soccer, as part of the Development Squad. He was so excited to go and start kicking the ball with the other little kiddies.

Beach Bliss

Page Maps - " A Sweetheart Summer"
Came across this challenge on Becky Fleck's Page Maps Blog, very inspired by the page map and the book cover I thought that I would give it a go. It has been a long time since I have visited Becky's blog, have now saved it in my favourites so I can visit more often.

Create a layout inspired by the cover of "A Sweethaven Summer."
This page is our last visit down to the beach in April. During the holidays we were very lucky to have another burst of summer appear. It really was bliss, the kids just loved it, happy days for all!

ARTastic- May Challenge

Our MAY inspiration ...

will come to you from the 1948 painting called The Cricketer's
by Sir George Russell Drysdale.

Additional Criteria - Outdoor Sports theme
Here the page that I designed for this challenge. The photo was taken by my husband  while he was at Primary school of his mates playing school yard footy. A mark of course in this sense is not a boys name but the act of catching a ball up high in AFL.
Go and check out what the other Design Team members have created, a huge array of outdoor sports have been used.

Would also like to thank Donna at AH Scrap for the beautiful button flower and button that she makes and I was able to add to this page. She also makes wonderful bottle caps that are worth a look.

Home and Scrapped- May Challenge

The challenge I created this month is a colour challenge based upon a yummy picture  taken from http://design-seeds.com/.  Not all colours from above have to be used, and there is no name to the colours that are used, so there is no right or wrong it is just the colours that you see and the papers that you have that can reflect this autumn feel.
I have also included a Becky Fleck page map from March to help with this challenge a bit more. http://www.pagemaps.com/mar12maps.htm
I hope you enjoy this challenge, here is the page I created.
Don't forget to title your page May - Sarah when placing it in the gallery so you can go into the monthly prize draw.
